Disease enters through the mouth!

September 15, 2023

Chinese culture and the Bible are the most relevant! We often say: "Disease enters through the mouth and disaster comes out of the mouth"! Jesus said: (Matthew 15:11) Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.~ Interpreting the Bible cannot just rely on the “meaning of the words”; but the"Word meaning"! Chinese culture attaches great importance to "cultivation"! Start with "Disease enters through the mouth and disaster comes out of the mouth"! This sentence tells us: We must pay attention to our diet so that we will not get sick! And "trouble comes from the mouth" means: We should not say bad words, as this will make people "sick"! And Jesus said: The food you eat cannot defile you, but it can defile yourself! Words coming out of your mouth can defile people! If we often accept "dirty words" from others, we will often make "ourselves sick"! We often use words to "defile others" and we will make "others sick"! Chinese culture emphasizes "being cautious in words and deeds", which is the most important thing in "cultivation ourself"! Western culture has always emphasized "fixing others", so Western culture is particularly aggressive! Why does Western culture emphasize "fixing others"? This is called "external cultivation"! Because they don’t read the Bible well, they spend their whole lives “fixing others”!

What is "fixing others"? Western culture is just like Christian culture: They always see that this is not good, that is not good,... the whole world is full of sinners, but I am the best! Therefore, Christianity becomes a bunch of sinners "self-righteous"! I want to ask these pastors: Who gives you the authority to criticize and judge others? Let me ask those pastors again: If the Communist Party is not good, then are the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, the Democratic Progressive Party and the Kuomintang are all good parties? No political party in the world is good, but is it helpful for us to preach and criticize these "parties and politicians" helpful for Chinese people? We can point out the inconsistencies between political parties and "biblical" truth, but we do not need to criticize and judge anyone, because if God is the Creator, He will definitely repay everyone according to their actions! We cannot overturn the whole boat with one stroke just because we have experienced persecution! Everyone has their own different encounters, and everyone encounters different people, things, and troubles! Just like many women who are divorced and deceived, should they say: There are no good men in the world! Church leaders and preachers preach the Word of God, not as those "divorced women" who go around criticizing and judging men!

In fact, the Bible is definitely not as superficial as the current pastors explain it! The "Bible" is more profound and profound than Chinese culture! Jesus simply told us the two most important commandments: “Love God” and “Love your neighbor as yourself”! "Loving God" is the "cultivation" of Chinese culture, which is "self-cultivation"! "Love God" is not just words. You say "love God" with your mouth, but you must have actual actions. What actions are "love God"? "Loving God" means loving God's law, loving God's words, and obeying God's will! Did Jesus love God? Of course! Jesus “loved God”! Jesus "loved God" by obeying the Father's will and dying for the sins of the world! We need to understand one very, very important thing: people must "cultivate themselves" before they can "cultivate externally"! "Love God" is the moral standard of our life. If we do not put ourselves in the "moral standard of loving God", we will become "hypocrites"! Pharisees know a lot of laws, but their laws are to rule others, not themselves. This is a hypocritical Pharisees!

And Jesus said: The second rule is similar, "Love your neighbor as yourself"! First of all, we must stand from the perspective of "loving God" before we know what the correct ways "love your neighbor as yourself" is! What if, Jesus doesn’t love God! Jesus would certainly not go to the cross, let alone die for the sinners of the world! Just like us modern people: we all think Jesus was a fool! Why listen to God? When Jesus died for sinners around the world, did the world change? Are the Jews saved by Jesus? Of course not! Have you ever thought that God is a fool? And Jesus was a big fool too! Jesus had to go to the cross because this is God’s salvation, this is God’s word, this is God’s righteousness! God absolutely must keep His word! God has emphasized from the Old Testament that only clean, holy, and unblemished blood can wash away human sins! This is why Jesus had to go to the cross. Jesus went to the cross and shed His precious blood in order to achieve "God's salvation"! God really wants to destroy mankind, but He also said that He wanted to redeem mankind! He must fulfill His word, and those who do not believe in God deserve to be destroyed!

The "internal cultivation" of Chinese culture is only half the story! Why do we see so many hermits, monks and nuns going up the mountain to practice? This is a selfish and simple way to help themselves! And what Jesus achieved is: the highest level of salvation! Let’s think about it: “internal cultivation” can only save “oneself”! But Jesus’ salvation is to save “all mankind”! Modern Christians have always emphasized "love your neighbor as yourself", but they forget that "loving your neighbor as yourself" must start with yourself! Why does the simple "love your neighbor as yourself" fail? Because "without morality", "without law" and "without the Word of God" our "love your neighbor as yourself" will become "hypocrisy"! Why is the United States always emphasizing "love", but American society is becoming more and more corrupt? Because these "loves" are not based on "love of God"! Those who "love God" will be like Jesus when they practice "loving their neighbor as themselves"!
