I love the parable of Jesus sower! (Matthew 13:19) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. (20) But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; (21) Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.~~Both my parents were baptized Christians for over ten years! I have been praying for my brother every day for nearly a year! But often because of my mother's mobile network poor, and I can't pray for him for few days, and his situation is quite unstable! Recently, I have often wondered: Why are there so many Christians in the world, but the human hearts are so evil, and the world is so corrupted? Does it make any difference if you ask me if my parents are Christians? No difference! Going to church on time every Sunday, attending small group meetings on time, and serving in the church, I have done all of these, and my two daughters have also done it with me. For 7 years in a row, the Sunday service had never been interrupted! I also served in many churches, but at that time I was not a Christian at all. Christians who follow people - will never be Christians! The Christian life has not changed and will never be a true Christian! What exactly is a "Christian"?
The parable of Jesus sower is very good! There are several kinds of people, and the seed is the "Word of God" and the "sower" is the preacher of the gospel! In the end, there is only one kind of person who can be a hundred times more fruitful, that is, a sower who sowns the Word of God on good soil will surely be a hundred times more fruitful! But isn't there so much good soil? And will the good soil enter the church? Or has the good soil entered the church? Or will the sower plant poisonous seeds on the good soil, so that the good soil turns into a hundred times worse fruit? The answer is yes! A sower must sow good seed on good soil in order to bear good fruit! If there are so many Christians and so many churches in the world, and the result is that the world is getting worse and worse, it can only be said that there is something wrong with the sower! Their seed is not "the Word of God", their seed is~ "the way of the devil"! Of course the way of the devil bears the fruit of the devils!
In the past, our time was nothing like Jesus' time! Jesus was a time when beliefs would be persecuted, so there were often seeds sown on the roadside that were stolen by demons. There were also seeds that were sown on stones, which simply can't take root and grow. Why did the sowers sow indiscriminately? Why didn't they sow in good soil? Times are different! The early church, people didn't know what the gospel was? The information they can receive is quite limited, and these apostles were sowers. What they focus on is not to find good soil, but to spread the gospel and spread the good news, so that more people have the hope of eternal life! Therefore, the early church had no chance to choose a good land, but it is true that many people were martyred for preaching the gospel! And these martyrs did preach the Word of God! Because what we see in them is the value of eternal life! If there is no eternal life, why should preachers be martyred?
In modern times, it should be said: Since the Industrial Revolution, people have begun to shake their beliefs, and because the Gospel has been preached for more than a thousand years, the Gospel has begun to deteriorate! These preachers started preaching "the way of the devil"! The most important one of "the way of the devil" is "pride"! This can fully explain why there are so many churches and so many Christians in the world, but the world is so corrupted! The Bible also tells us clearly and plainly that there will be many heresies in the last days! There will inevitably be many anti-Christians in the last days! In the last days, there will inevitably be many preachers who deviate from the Truth!
There are many who say: We don't need the Gospel! We don't need to go to heaven either! We just need money! My parents love money and I love money too! If I didn't love money, I would never plan to retire at 30 years old! But I really feel that my parents need the Gospel more than the money! Why can I pass up a better job opportunity and study theology that doesn't make money? I really study and study quite hard! Studying theology can be said to be ~ negative equity! But for my family to be saved, I think it's 100% worth it! For those who have never made money, they think that money is the world! But it really doesn't make sense to spend your whole life making money! Don't think that being baptized is a Christian. Baptism can be an anti-Christian or a heretic!
What is the "Word of God"? The Word of God falls on good soil, and it will bear thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold! And the early church is the proof that the Word of God has landed on good soil. The "Gospel" really thrived because of the early church, and the Gospel really spreaded! The real role of "God's Word" is to help us live better today and have the hope of eternal life! We often make our lives bleak because of circumstances, but God is light, God is love, and God is the only hope in our lives! I help my parents not only for their eternal life, but also hope that they can have a peaceful and joyful life in this life! After all, my parents are getting older day by day!
